Civil Ceremonies at the The Spread Eagle

As part of our flexible approach to Weddings we also offer Civil Ceremony only packages for couples who prefer to just get married with us.

The Spread Eagle Hotel is a licensed wedding venue for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships of up to 200 guests.

Our civil ceremonies package includes:

A licensed room for the ceremony

Sound system to play your choice of music

Private room for you to meet with the Registrar prior to the ceremony

Floorstanding rose trees and hurricane lamp and mirror decoration

Cream aisle runner

Choice of Licensed Civil Ceremony Areas:

Fothergill Suite (up to 200 guests)
Restaurant (up to 65 guests)
Augustus John Room (up to 25 guests)
Sir John Gielgud Suite (up to 20 guests)
Sir Harold Acton Suite (up to 20 guests)
Garden Wing Outdoor Space - Approved open space (no formal limit but numbers of guests should not exceed the limit of the room booked as a bad weather contingency)

Optional Extras:

Arrival drinks, canapes & chair covers.
Bridal Suite overnight stays for the Bride & Groom
